Sliding onto the podium at Castle Combe 🏆

Races 9 & 10

I had a brilliant day of racing at Castle Combe Circuit for round 4 of the Civic Cup Official coming away with two very solid results, pushing me to 5th in the driver standings after a rough start to the year.

Heading into qualifying with no practice made it tricky but I managed to qualify P8 only .4 seconds off pole.

Knowing where the time was though, I headed into the races with confidence.

Race 1 – P6

Race 2 – P2

I very briefly saw the lead in race 2 but some contact knocked me down the order, I then fought hard to bring it back for a P2 finish with a wounded car.

Overall I’m happy with the results at a very fun track, looking forward to go one better at Donington in only a few weeks time
