A Weekend of what could’ve been.

Races 11 & 12

29th August 2022

Overall Donington was a tricky weekend, I ended up coming away with two top 10 results but with the feeling that if things went slightly more my way it could’ve been so much better.

Qualifying was brilliant resulting in P4 on the grid but off the start I had a huge amount of clutch slip all the way until turn 1 meaning that although I was flat out I was going nowhere but the back of the field. Then In race 2 I was boxed in off the start resulting in 3 wide contact at turn 1 and a left front puncture. Nonetheless the pace was strong throughout and I can’t thank Pro Alloys Racing enough for the support (and the speedy pit stop ).

The car was absolutely mega and we’ve made some big steps forward towards the remaining two rounds. I still currently sit 5th in the championship standings and with two rounds left there’s still plenty to play for!Thank you to my sponsors for getting me out there and everyone who came to watch for the support!

Next up we head to Brands Hatch and after two podium finishes there earlier in the year I’m hoping for some good results!
